What was affected. The websites, the download links on the site, and the online API.
What was not affected. No customer data was touched. No purchase, license or subscription was lost or changed. DeepSeek Unchained is built to run fully offline, so the app itself kept working throughout.
What we got wrong. You saw nothing. No maintenance page, no status update, no explanation. That is on us, and it is the part we have fixed.
What has changed. Our public sites now fail over automatically to an independent, off-site status page within about ninety seconds of the office connection going down. That page shows the current status in English, Russian, Turkish and Portuguese, and it always links to a working download of the app. We can update it from anywhere, even with our main connection dead. We also get paged the moment the connection drops instead of hearing about it from you.
